The story behind the image
2015. I had arranged an event in Berlin, Germany, for my company. The guests had not yet arrived and I took the opportunity to shoot some generic images showing the nice sweets on the buffet.
That’s when I realized how difficult it actually is to shoot food properly. Hats off to those who earn their money with food photography. While I like to eat and taste food, I have never shown enough interest in the topic to try it on my own. But it is difficult to make the food look as good as it (hopefully) tastes.
I still like my photo somewhat, even if just for the nice memories associated with the event. 🙂
