The story behind the image
This image from 1958 is from the large lot of slides I purchased a couple of weeks ago. It shows the Piazza di San Marco with the Basilica di San Marco. It is as busy as it has always been, and it is a joy to see that very little has changed since then. And no, despite being a true fan of Italy, I haven’t been to Venice yet. But it’s on my bucket list.
For now, this image must serve as a reminder. 😉
