The story behind the image
Old photos can be a joy to look at, inspect, and discover detais galore.
This photo from about 1958 was shot when leaving the harbour of Lindau am Bodensee in Germany. The photographer was obviously looking for a postcard shot, and he got it! Back then, the German national flag was somewhat popular with photographers and the flag sometimes even became a key element of a postcard image.
The area has not changed a lot since the 1960s. Both the harbour and the town still have the same look and feel.
Very nice!
