The story behind the image
Following a day of heavy snowfall, I drove to Munich’s town center to get a couple of shots how the people were actually coping with the masses of snow. And guess what? They were doing well, extremely well. While all the sounds were muffled, a certain calmness and relaxation set it. Everything was slower than normal as everyone was moving more carefully – but life went on!
I took this photo of taxis waiting in line at the Maximillianstrasse near the National Theater.
