The story behind the image
A while ago I shared a photo of the southernmost point of the African continent in South Africa where the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet.
This image shows Petra and me next to the official landmark that has been put there to act as an eye-catcher and photo point for tourists. It is located near Cape Agulhas. At the top of the landmark is a windrose that indicating the distances to different places in the world (e.g., New York 12745 km, Cape Point 147 km).
I still remember that we had some discussions as to the side where we would stand. In the end we did a couple of shots but I like this one the most. 🙂
