The story behind the image
It was going to a beautiful day in autumn, and so I took my (then) brand new DSLR for a walk in the park of Nymphenburg Castle in Munich, Germany. I did not get disappointed. The park on the western side of the main building was not too crowded, and the sun illuminated the castle nicely.
Of course, I know that this is not a unique image by any means. Countless visitors have shot similar photos over the decades. Yet, I like it. In older shots on film I was experiencing grainy images, and the colors were much more difficult to balance. No problem with that (then) new Canon EOS 1Ds mark II body.
Nice.
