The story behind the image

While we spent our summer vacation in Grömitz, Germany, we had the pleasure of attending a historic car show in town. The organizers had pulled together more than 300 stunning cars which filled three greens right next to the beach. Of course, this provided me with countless photo opportunities.

This image shows a former US Polica Car as it is being admired by the visitors of the car show. The car is a 2010 Dodge Charger R/T with V8 engine and 450 HP. It still carries the full police car equipment today, including handcuff holder, weapon holster, and police radio. The car has road approval and a German OH number plate (for Ostholstein, the county where Grömitz is located.)
