The story behind the image
A couple of days ago I made an early-morning detour to the former airport of Neubiberg in Unterhaching in Germany. It has been converted into a beautiful public landscape park and is always good for a surprise.
The previous days had been very cold, and the snow that had fallen was beautiful – pure white and of perfect powder. (It was not too much snow, though.)
The light shortly before sunrise was magical. The sky was dipped in a sea of blue, yellow, and red hues while the trees created a stark, silhouette-like contrast.
Very nice.
