The story behind the image
Following a night of heavy snowfall, I drove to Munich’s Olympic Park to get a couple of rare shots showing the park in clean, fresh snow. Not only was the sight attractive, but the experience was positive as well, because all the typical sounds of the busy city were muffled, and I could enjoy an unusual silence and peace during my hike to the top of the Olympic Hill.
This photo shows the street sign of the Willi-Gebhard-Ufer, which can hardly be read due to the masses of snow that sat on top of the narrow sign.
