The story behind the image
I love to run in the early morning and enjoy the peace, the silence and the (usually) incredible mood! This is true for holidays as well.
During our 2025 trip to Bellaria-Igea Marina – a lovely town situated close to Rimini at the Italian Adriatic Coast – I was joined by my daughter Clara for a 5k run along the Lungomare. Afterwards we cooled down at the Spiaggia 46 aka PICIACIA. While I just rested on one of the sunchairs, Clara performed amazing handstands in the wet sand, with the rising sun in the back. She asked me to take a few pictures, and I happily agreed.
