The story behind the image
Earlier this year, we visited the Leipzig Zoo in Germany. One of their huge attractions is Gondwanaland, a genuinue tropical rain forest presented in a huge building completely covered by glass.
There’s so much to see and do, from taking a gentle ride on the small river through the rain forest to walking on wood bridges high up in the trees of the thick, wet forest. This place has been designed with utmost love for details, so we spent much longer than expected.
My photo shows a young leopard resting on a tree trunk in the half-shadow of the surrounding leafs.
