The story behind the image
Today, my father would have celebrated his 87th birthday but he died way too early in April 1983.
So I picked this image from the family archive for my post today. It’s a passport shot dated October 1965, just a few days before I was born. Sadly, it’s tiny by any standards, and a bit soft, so giant posters are out of the question. However, I love the composition of the image and the expression on his face. In a constantly changing world he mastered to keep his humour and optimism, even during the darkest hours. This is how I remember him.
Thinking of you, Dad. I will always love you.
