The story behind the image
Spring 2020. The Corona pandemic had Germany – like the rest of the world – in its tight and ugly grip.
We needed to experience something else from the dreadful lockdown and mask-wearing and visited the Olympic Park in Munich. From the parking lot we ‘hiked’ to the top of the Olympic Hill. The views are fantastic even on a cloudy day like then. It’s easy to see why the park is so popular. The huge greens work very well with the stunning architecture of the stadium.
