The story behind the image
A year ago we did a tiny excursion into the Bavarian Alps. The weather was awesome and much welcome after a longer period of cloudy and cold days. Our destination was the Sylvenstein Basin near Lenggries. While you could do long hikes down there, we decided to step out of the car a couple of times and explore the area in several shorter walks.
This photo shows the view from the Faller-Klamm-Brücke that crosses the basin. Of course, I love the group of isolated trees as they stand against the blue, green, and turqouise water of the basin, illuminated by the already low sunlight.
For this photo I used the Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II USM on my M6 Mark II body to overcome the limitations of the kit lens. The result is awesome and proves that the camera is way better than the kit lens. Just put a decent lens on a decent camera and you get the chance for a decent photo.
Go figure.
