The story behind the image
When we stayed in Leipzig in Germany for two nights, and because the weather was warm and nice we started to explore the city center right away after checking in to our hotel. The old town was just a short walk from the hotel and we were stunned by the beauty of the city and the buzzing energy on the streets.
At the Augustplatz we admired the building of the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), a regional public broadcaster. I like the symmetry of the composition and the reflection of the sun in the building. Of course, I should have taken the DSLR but I did not expect to see so many exciting images and – once more! – I was glad to have my trusted smartphone. 🙂
