The story behind the image
I love to run in the early morning and enjoy the peace, the silence and the (usually) incredible mood!
Bellaria-Igea Marina is a lovely town situated close to Rimini at the Adriatic Coast. Nothing beats an early morning run along the Lungomare (beach promenade) while gazing at the sea and breathing the mild, fresh air. On my track I encountered this beautiful scene, a few minutes after sunrise.
After my run, I rested on one of the beach chairs and admired the sunrise. A woman walked past and did the same. I love the high contrast between her and the sea, her long shadow on the beach, and the reflection of the (somewhat pale) sun on the surface of the calm water.
Just amazing.
