The story behind the image
In 2004 we traveled Switzerland for a week. We started in Zurich, made a stop in Berne to visit some friends, and concluded the trip in Luzern, a very old town located at the Vierwaldstätter See. With about 60,000 inhabitants it is one of the larger cities in Switzerland.
My image shows the iconic Hotel Château Gütsch that overlooks the city from high above the river Reuss. It has its own cable car – the Gütschbahn – that connects the hotel to the town center. The hotel has a long history that is being told at the official website and you can be sure that every Inch of the building reflects this history. The rooms and suites look awesome.
Unmissable.
