The story behind the image
The office of my former employer had been located close to the Munich city center. This was pretty convenient as most of the suburban train lines where stopping at the Hackerbrücke station which was just a few minutes walk from the office.
One morning in October 2017, the rising sun was still quite low over the city center when I arrived by train at the Hackerbrücke station. This is where the central bus station (ZOB in German) was, the modern building on the left. The sunlight illuminated both the building and the countless tracks that lead into the train station.
Of course, the smartphone could cope just so-so with the upfront sunlight but I am still happy I shot the image as it is still quite impressive.
Nice.
