The story behind the image
From the ‘Angel of Peace’ (Friedensengel) monument in Munich, Germany, I had a terrific view along the Prinzregentenstrasse, with the Prinz-Carl-Palais at its very end, the Luitpoldbrücke in the front and the large fountain right in front of me.
The sun was about to set and its last beams illuminated the top of the water fountain while the traffic was rushing by. Up there, at the platform in front of the monument, I felt the mild breeze of the late afternoon – not really cold yet, but not too warm either.
I just watched the traffic, the people and and enjoyed the fading of the sunlight.
Nice.
