The story behind the image
We had booked a room at the H2 Hotel in Leipzig, Germany. The hotel is situated conveniently within walking distance of the central station and the city center. Super friendly and helpful staff, modern and fresh design, and an excellent breakfast buffet make it a good choice for travellers wanting to explore the city.
Our room # 671 on the sixth floor had 2 x 2 bunk beds for the three of us, and we did not mind this at all. Actually, it was a great fun to sleep in a bunk bed again. I have not done this for almost 40 years now, and I liked it a lot. (I opted for a top bed with ladder.)
The view was, well, the view. We were looking at the (empty) top of the garage next to our hotel. One afternoon some young folks were rehearsing some breakdance moves but the windows were well isolated so we did not hear their music. But I found the look of the empty parking lot quite attractive and captured an interesting image.
H2 Hotel in Leipzig? Both thumbs up!
