The story behind the image
Yesterday I shared an image of the Cathedral in Elgin in Scotland. We stopped for a night in this vibrant town which offers all amenities to visitors, including a number of Bed and Breakfasts, hotels and restaurants.
While the cathedral certainly is a major tourist attraction, there is a beautiful and peaceful garden right next to it which is often passed. It is well worth a visit as it has 110 plants with Biblical references and shows several art pieces as well.
The garden was gifted to Elgin by Colonel George A. Cooper back in 1903 but it was shaped into its current form in the early 1990s. Since 1996 it is open to the public.
