The story behind the image
Recently we visited the Leipzig Zoo in Germany. One of their huge attractions is Gondwanaland, a genuinue tropical rain forest presented in a huge building completely covered by glass.
We opted for a short ride on the small river that goes through the rain forest. While this meant additional cost it was well worth it. For about ten minutes we found ourselves gently gliding through the thick, wet forest. The tour has been designed with true love for details, and it came as close as possible to the reality of a real excursion.
The Lepzig Zoo – an excellent way to spend the day.
