The story behind the image
As you know, we spent a couple of weeks in Grömitz in Germany. The village has a nice beach, a yacht harbour, steep cliffs, and a stunning promenade.
I love to take the camera and explore the area in the early morning. That morning I wanted to capture the rising sun at the beach. A single beach chair served as an outlook post for a young seagull. I cautiously approached the chair, placed the sun at the edge of the chair and waited until the seagull’s head was slightly turning towards the sun.
The result is – just wow. 😉
