The story behind the image
In 2023, we spent a part of our annual Pentecost vacations in Tuscany. Petra had found a wonderful holiday appartment – Casa Elisa in Alberi, Florence. This former farm is situated in a beautiful valley near Montaione. With just four appartments, it offers plenty of space for the (much needed) relaxation.
When we did not spend the time at the pool, we explored the area, including Montaione. Here, we discovered the Punto Panoramico which provided a beautiful panorama view of the surrounding.
This smartphone did a terrific job capturing the scene in the panorama mode, but sadly, the resulting images were always quite small. (This has been fixed in more recent models of Samsung.)
I still like the image, though.
