The story behind the image
Camps Bay in South Africa is situated west of the Lion’s Head, facing the Atlantic Ocean. It is well worth a side trip from Cape Town or a stopover when returning from the Cape of Good Hope. While you are here, you may get some food (for example at the good The Bungalow restaurant) and watch the paragliders land. They depart at Lion’s Head and land on the green right in front of the restaurant!
Here, we enjoyed our dinner in the first row, and this paraglider flew right over the restaurant before landing softly on the large green in front of us.
The result: An action-packed shot that yells ‘ultimate freedom’. Very nice.
