The story behind the image
I love to shoot weddings, because the mood is special, always. And it’s a rewarding job to do, because you know that the couple will forever look at the photos and remember one of the most important days in their lives.
That’s why I do test photos of the most important locations and views prior to the wedding. While I like surprises, I am not a big fan of them during a wedding assignment.
My photo shows one of the test images at the Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady in Regensburg, Bavaria. While the church has already been decorated for a wedding, a single woman sits in the first row and performs a silent prayer.
Impressive.
