The story behind the image
We had entered Yosemite National Park at its eastern entrance and now drove up Tioga Road (Highway 120). Long windings and just light traffic, fortunately. The first lake we encountered was Ellery Lake, then we passed Tioga Lake (my photo above), another gem of the National Park, again with a convenient viewpoint right next to the road.
An angler was trying to catch fish while resting in an inflatable rubber ring in the calm and mirror-like lake.
Awesome.
