The story behind the image
The view from the historic stone bridge called Barrage Vauban is certainly one of the many stunning attractions in Strasbourg, France. It is situated within walking distance from the quarter La Petit France with countless historic buildings, small streets, nice restaurants and shops. An eye feast for visitors and photographers alike.
The river L’Ill separates into small channels that wind through the quarter and the city. As you can see on my photo, the water was pretty calm and mirrored the buildings nicely. I am not a big fan of the clouds in the back but at least it was not raining!
