Generative AI in Art
Another Sunday morning, another item of my series exploring generative AI for art. As you may already know, I took the beautiful sunset image that ChatGPT had created for me and requested a visualization in various styles to see and compare the results. I call this series Sunset in AI-Land.
So far, I’ve done it for several styles, ranging from pointilism, cubism, and pop art, to comic style, surrealism, neo-expressionism, and more. I like them. Some more, some less, but they are all impressive in a way.
This time I asked ChatGPT to create a painting assuming the style of Leonardo da Vinci. Here’s the simple prompt:
Create an image from the uploaded file that looks like a painting by Leonardo da Vinci. Keep the original aspect ratio of 4 (width) to 3 (height).
In my opinion, ChatGPT came up with a very good result, and I wondered what would a true artist and visionary like da Vinci do with ChatGPT today? Would he embrace the technology, fascinated by the opportunities?
