The story behind the image
The Italian Adriatic Coast is home to countless beautiful beaches. This is the beach of Peschici where the gentle waves of the Mediterranean Sea roll onto the beach and sun-seekers still enjoy the warm temperatures mid-September.
I took this shot from the end of Viale Kennedy close to the Castello di Peschici, which sits high above the sea on a cliff and is well worth the visit.
Peschici – the perfect place to relax from the buzz of the big cities.
