The story behind the image
Yesterday I shared an image of the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, a small reserve just south of Carmel in California. It’s a natural reserve that definitely belongs on any ‘highlights ‘Must See’ lists when exploring Highway Number One.
The ancient woods and rocky shoreline made it a sacred place for the indigenous people. Today it is a place for photographers, artists, nature lovers from around the world. Narrow sandy footpaths guide you through the reserve to discover and enjoy the many stunning views.
My image shows Headland Cove with the Sea Lion Rocks in the back.
