The story behind the image
In Bellaria Igea Marina all mornings seem to be exciting. And some are even more exciting. Just like last year, on the 1st of September, 2024. I had just captured a photo of a bagnino preparing a rescue boat and just a few steps further down the beach the passenger ferry pier where the Super Tayfun picks up passengers for excursions along the Adriatic Coast.
And now I sat on the sunchairs of Bagno 46 and admired the sunrise. A woman came by and did the same, just more closely to the water. She took her camera and captured the sunrise. The harsh contrast turned her into a silhouette and gave the center of the stage to the sunrise.
Very, very nice.
