Generative AI in Art
Here is the next item of a series exploring generative AI for art. I took the beautiful sunset image that ChatGPT had already created for me and requested a visualization in various styles to see and compare the results. I call this series Sunset in AI-Land.
So far, I’ve done it for: pointilism, cubism, pop art, comic style, and surrealism. I like them. Some more, some less, but they are all impressive in a way.
This time it is a second variant of the comic style. I used another artist name to get to a slightly different result. This, like the first variant, resembles a very popular comic artist of my youth. About once a year he and his colleague published a beautifully drawn album that I would buy as soon as it got released. Each picture an artwork in itself, containing funny stories even in the tiniest details.
It is exciting to see that the two styles are quite different, despite illustrating the same topic. This goes to show that great comic artists can find their unique style and become immortal.
