The story behind the image
You have heard the name before – St. Moritz in Switzerland. Best known for exclusive winter holidays and stunning ski races. So, when we approached the town we simply had to stop. The route through the Swiss Alps had been more beautiful than expected, and St. Moritz should be no different.
We had parked the car outside the town and were now walking towards the town center. This view from Via Aruons was awesome and weird at the same time. To me, it looked like we had been scaled down and placed into a model train landscape. Everything looked so clean and proper. Yes, there were some modern buildings but there still was a lot of green and blue. A somewhat bizarrely beautiful sight.
The town center itself turned out to be not as beautiful and resembled more like your typical Swiss town on the countryside – busy and modern with a lot of concrete, yet still very clean and tidy.
So I fondly remember this view from before visiting the town. 🙂
