The story behind the image
Yesterday I shared an image of Craigievar Castle, a fairy tale castle that can be found along Scotland’s Castle Route through the Royal Deeside. Here is another one.
When we visited, the castle was closed for restoration but the surrounding parkland was open to the public, so I could take this photo of the main building.
The castle has been re-opened and looks better than ever. More information on the official site.
