The story behind the image
A while ago I shared a photo of the southernmost point of the African continent near Cape Agulhas, South Africa.
This image shows the official landmark near Cape Agulhas, South Africa, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet. At the top of the landmark is a windrose that indicating the distances to different places in the world (e.g., New York 12745 km, Cape Point 147 km).
Most tourists shoot photos as they stand next to the landmark, and yes, we did it, too!
