The story behind the image
As soon as we had checked-in at our hotel in Las Vegas we went on a discovery walk. It was late in the afternoon and the sun already produced that beautiful soft light that dips everything in deep, warm orange colors.
This photo shows the south-west front of the Treasure Island hotel. I like the architecture with its nicely decorated windows, the straight lines, the long shadows that add contrast, and the reduced color set.
By the way, back in 2003 the word ‘Treasure’ was shown in dark brown. Today, the entire wordmark is shown in white.
