The story behind the image
It’s been a while that I posted an image of Bellaria-Igea Marina which probably is one of the finest beaches at the Adriatic Sea in Italy. At least in my mind. We’ve travelled there for several years and never regretted any of the trips.
One morning in 2024, I walked to the beach in the morning with my Canon EOS M6 Mark II to enjoy the Blue Hour and sunrise. I tried several super long exposures from the mole. This image shows the waterfront with the hotels in the first row. It was quite busy that morning but thanks to the long exposure (32 seconds) the motions are so much blurred that you cannot notice them anymore.
I really love the colors, bright lights and (seemingly) super calm surface of the water.
Go figure.
