The story behind the image
If you’re looking for spectacular nature, Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah should be on your bucket list. To experience the park is an overwhelming experience.
We went twice to the National Park. Once in the afternoon, right after checking in at our hotel, and once in the morning, after checking out. After all, we wanted to see the main attractions both before sunset and after sunrise. It was worth it!
This image shows the Wall Street in the late afternoon. The sun was already quite low and dipped the spectacular spiked rock formations of the canyon in the shadow. Just the top of the rock formation was still illuminated.
Anyway, Bryce Canyon National Park is a nature photographers’ dream come true, offering many shades of green, red, and – on good days – purple and even blue. If you have enough time, we recommend going down for a hike between the rocks using the Navajo Loop Trail or the longer Peekaboo Loop Trail.
