The story behind the image
When exploring the magnificient Lago Maggiore in the Alps, you will almost certainly visit the city of Ascona. It is situated on the Swiss side of the lake and combines the best of both worlds: you get Swiss reliability and Italian lifestyle.
I took this photo of the historical church Chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Paolo from Via Moscia which enables a high viewpoint.
