The story behind the image
Here’s another shot from my trip to Paris in 1988. It shows the view across the Champ de Mars with the majestic Eiffel Tower in the back, probably one of the most photographed scenes in the world. So, my image is yet another one, and – needless to say – it’s far from perfect, even by standards of 1988. The cloud covered sky does not help at all, and the tower itself shows a huge green cover on top of the first floor.
Still, I do like it.
Maybe this image would have been a good use case for black and white?
