MARCH 2006 – After a night of heavy snowfall in Munich, Germany, cars parked in the Frundsbergstraße in Munich are completely covered by snow, a rare sight for early March. Photo © by Mark Zanzig/zanzig.com
The story behind the image
While I write this, the sky over Munich is completely covered by clouds but the temperatures over the past couple of days have been very nice and warm just like it should be in March. 🙂
Back in March 2006, things were a bit different. 19 years ago, in 2006, a night of snowfall hit the city in March, covering everything with a thick white mass of snow.
My image shows the sight in the Frundsbergstraße (at about house number 60) on the next morning.
