The story behind the image
Imagine an active harbour in Italy, at the Adriatic Sea. Shortly before sunset. Can you feel the mild air? Can you smell the tasty, salty sea? Can you experience the peace and (relative) silence? If so, you probably know what I am talking about, and where I might be.
While most of you would have guessed Bellaria Igea Marina (and rightly so), this image shows the harbour of Caorle near Venice in Italy. In 2017, we enjoyed an early summer vacation in this nice town. One evening we went from our holiday home all the way to the working harbour in the town center and enjoyed a peaceful sunset that took place behind the large fleet of fishing vessels.
