The story behind the image
In 2011 I shot a number of images to illustrate the Euro currency (and its continuing crisis back then.) So I emptied my pockets and found a nice, slightly battered coin.
Of course, there’s no deeper meaning behind it, and the Euro crisis has slowly creeped back out of the focus. Still, I like this image a lot.
