The story behind the image
A cold, sunny day in January 2010 saw us hiking up from the town center of Bad Tölz in Bavaria, Germany, to the top of the nearby Kalvarienberg. Here we found a small chapel and the bigger Kreuzkirche from 1726. As always, Wikipedia knows a lot more (in german.)
My image shows the interior of the Kreuzkirche, captured with the 24 mm focal length on a full format sensor. Despite its majegstic outside appearance, it is still relatively small inside – but exceptionally beautiful.
And well worth the walk from the town center, and back. 🙂
