The story behind the image
We found the Scottish coast between Fraserburgh and Elgin to be extremely beautiful. You’ll have beaches, towns, cliffs, secluded villages, lighthouses, golf courses. Countless photo stops slowed us down, so it took us almost a day to get from Rattray Head to Elgin, a distance of just 70 miles.
This image shows the greens of the 18 hole course belonging to the Royal Tarlair Golf Club in Macduff. Now, I admit that I do not play golf, but I can imagine how cool it must be to play right next to the sea. I guess you must be a really good player, especially for those holes that have the cliffs nearby.
Just wow.
