The story behind the image
Here’s another image from our trip to the Dominican Republic in December 1998.
This image shows the beach between the hotel and Cabarete. I took it during a nice and (not too long) walk to the village center. Back then, there were very few hotels along the beach, so it was not very busy. Almost unspoilt in my view. Today there are more buildings along the beach, but it appears to be pretty similar to 1998.
