The story behind the image
On Saturday we’ve been to the concert of Kamrad in Munich, Germany, and I already shared a couple of images here. It’s been a fantastic concert by a (still) rising star.
However, Kamrad’s support act was as interesting as the main act: Myle, an approachable young singer-songwriter who creates groovy rock-pop tracks. I admit that I knew him just from the video for his song Something in Between where he collaborated with the My Move Dancecrew. I had never heard of Myle before, but I immediately liked the energy radiating from this song.
When I realized that Myle would be the support act for Kamrad, I was excited. And I was genuinely surprised when he just showed up without band, just with an acustic guitar! How on Earth was that supposed to work? But it worked extremely well. His songs convince in minimalistic acustic versions as well as in polished studio tracks. And he knows how to catch the audience. With his superb voice. By not just singing but also telling little stories. By being approachable.
I think the future will be bright for him. So bright, indeed, he’ll need sunglasses. 😉
Here’s another shot of his performance:
