The story behind the image
In 2003 we spent a long weekend in Dublin, the Irish capital. The sun was shining – at least sometimes – and so we took the opportunity to shoot some of the attractions in sunshine! Yeah!
We walked up to the Trinity College where two statues flank the main entrance. This is the statue towards south, showing Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774) who graduated from the college and became a famous and eccentric author.
As always, Wikipedia knows a lot more.
