The story behind the image
In 2023, we enjoyed a full day at the quarter finals of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany. That meant a day full of exciting tennis matches. As we did not want to drive home to Munich at night, we booked a nearby hotel and explored the city center in the morning. It was one of the first warm spring days, and the city presented itself almost perfectly.
Here’s a nice view of the New Castle (on the left), a magnificent baroque palace and former royal residence, which is now used by the state government of Baden Wurtemberg.
Sure, it would have been even better if the sky would’ve been absolutely clear, but heck, I like the photo anyway.
